Hybrid workshop at the Lighthouse of S.N.F.C.C. under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, in which General Director of RIT Professor George Petrakos presented the results of four RIT surveys on sustainability, employment, accessibility and penetration of new technologies in Greek hotels.
RIT participated in the 7th International Conference on “Culture and Tourism in a Smart, Globalized and Sustainable World” organized by the International Association of Cultural and Digital Tourism (IACuDiT) in Hydra, 2-4 September 2020.
The President of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels (HCH) Mr. Alexandros Vasilikos, as well as the General Director of RIT Professor George Petrakos were keynote speakers in special sessions of the conference. RIT presented two scientific papers which will be published in the 2020 IACUDIT Conference Proceedings by Springer Publishing.
The President of RIT Ms Konstantina Svinou presented the new orientation and scientific program of the Institute at the 9th General Assembly of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels.
The National Center for Public Administration and Local Government organized a two-day conference on “Communities and Cities Friendly to the Elderly”. The event took place on June 21-22, 2018, at the “Kosmas Psychopedis” Amphitheater. RIT was represented by its President Ms Konstantina Svynou.
The President of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels Mr. George Tsakiris and the scientific tema of RIT presented the annual survey about the evolution of world tourism and the performance of the Greek hotel sector in 2015.
